Additionally, a fee of $100 is required to submit the motion to the court.
The Unique Customer Code can be found in the email sent by FTX around the end of March. If you don’t have the code due to the creditor status not being confirmed, you can leave the code information blank on the engagement contract.
Important: This motion will only be submitted if 100 participants have joined, as agreed with the local Delaware attorney (required under U.S. law) supporting this case. Therefore, if we do not reach 100 participants, the motion will not be submitted, and the $100 fee will be fully refunded.
Engagement Agreement
1. Advanced Legal P.C., in collaboration with Delaware attorney Michael Joyce, LLC (collectively referred to as “the Attorneys”), will file a motion with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware to request limited relief, including the extension of the deadline for submitting the Proof of Claim for FTX’s Chapter 11 bankruptcy case (Case No: 22-11068) from September 29, 2023, to December 31, 2023, an extension of approximately three months. The motion will be filed on behalf of the client (referred to as "Client"), whose English name is [fill in the form below], Unique Customer Code is [fill in the form below], and the email address used for the FTX account is [fill in the form below].
2. The motion will include the following points*:The waiver of the KYC (Know Your Customer) and Proof of Claim submission deadline of September 29, 2023, for clients included in the motion list.

Extension of the KYC and Proof of Claim submission deadline to December 31, 2023, for clients included in the motion list.

Allowance for both online and mail submissions within the extended period for clients included in the motion list.

Provision of an official Korean translation for the FTX platform (https://claims.ftx.com)**

Correction of any technical errors on the FTX platform (https://claims.ftx.com)

Resolution of hacking issues.

Disclosure of information regarding the number of Korean victims and total damages.
* The final wording may vary (for example, regarding the extension deadline), and the motion submitted to the court will be shared with clients.
**Currently, official translations are available in 16 languages, but there is no official Korean translation provided for the Korean victims, who are reported to be the largest group among FTX victims.
3. Fees and Terms: The fee for this motion is $100 per client. Clients understand and agree that if fewer than 100 clients join, the attorney may choose not to submit the motion.
4. Fee Refund: If the motion is not filed, the $100 fee will be fully refunded.
5. Disclaimer on Guarantees: Under U.S. attorney ethics laws, no part of this agreement or communication with the attorney shall be interpreted as a guarantee or promise regarding the outcome of the legal services. This motion is being filed as part of the exercise of the rights of victims (creditors) guaranteed under U.S. federal bankruptcy law FRBP 9006(b) and Section 105, and clients understand and agree to this.
6. Amendments to the Agreement: This agreement may be amended by written consent of the parties involved.
7. Entire Agreement: This agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties.
The parties have read and understood the above terms and conditions.
